On the MC8540, you can quickly replace the two ceramic/titanium cutting heads by turning them briefly. Various trimming widths (24 mm for beard, 38 mm for hair) as well as flexible cutting lengths (beard in 7 increments from 2–22 mm, hair in 14 increments from
